Online Qualitative Services:

Online qualitative services include, online focus groups, extended online focus groups, and online depth interviews. Each technique uses a similar process. They differ in duration and the number of people being interviewed at one time. The following is a brief description of the focus group process.

After approval of the marketing research proposal, a script is developed by surveydepartment.com and approved by the client. Participants are recruited using customer lists, internet groups that have given their approval, or online panels. Sometimes respondents are recruited by telephone or mail. (A hybrid method) Participants are then notified by email about the details of the focus group. They sign-into the focus group platform in advance of the scheduled date and choose an alias so that they will remain anonymous. Focus groups are hosted on our stand-alone secured server.

A professional moderator leads the each group while clients watch from their office, home, or even while sitting beside the moderator. Clients can give real-time feedback to the moderator using the focus group platform. Transcripts are generated immediately after each focus group session. Final reports are given to clients in both printed and electronic format. The moderator will also give a formal presentation of research findings at the request of the client. One presentation is included with the price of a focus group project.
